Bands and Attack Sequence

 

Newbies are getting in on the band action early.  We hooked up purple bands last night and performed our attack sequence:

1.  Begin with your protective fence on the left or right side

2.  Slap to the side of the head (no pattycake here!)

3.  Low line kick to the leg (shin)

4.  Chop to the trachea

5.  Chop again, really putting the body into it

6.  Swivel punch to the solar plexus

The students re-discover their hips really quickly, especially after that slap when they turn the body for the low line kick.  I really had to draw in the belly button for stabilization.
