A study of shootings done on yearly basis tells that approximately 60% of all these shootings take place during nighttime hours on a consistent basis.  In contrast to the typical brightly lit range, more than two out of three fatal shootings occur during the hours of darkness or in locations where the light is dim.

This 6-hour course will educate the student as to the use of a flashlight in all situations ranging from normal activities to lethal force engagements.  It is our goal to increase the students’ chances of surviving and prevailing in a lethal-force encounter occurring in diminished lighting conditions.

Combative and Pistol skills will be demonstrated, practiced and honed in a low light or dim light environment situations via realistic scenarios using Airsoft and Real Action Marking training pistols.

The following topics will be covered:

Combat Hard Training Tip!

Basic Pistol Seminar

Combat Hard taught another Firearm Safety and Basic Pistol Course this Saturday.  We set up the indoor Airsoft range again, which we must admit looks pretty darn cool.  It was another great seminar and participants had great questions about owning and carrying firearms, as well as safety issues regarding children.  This is a introductory class, and students will have an opportunity at a later date to participate in live-fire courses on the range as well as our Integrated Combatives class that combines fighting and shooting.

We would really like to thank Heath Mayer, who talked to us about the Georgia Carry organization, which does a lot in our state to protect our rights to bear arms.  We would like to thank KBX Gym, our gracious host! Oh, and thank you so much Lissa for helping us with the trailer situation!!! You are the best, girl! 🙂

Home Firearm Safety & Basic Pistol Course

This Saturday Combat Hard conducted a Home Firearm Safety and Basic Pistol Course at KBX Gym.  Students received lecture on the basics of handguns and how they operate, ammunition, firearm safety in the home, and the law as it pertains to citizens of the state of Georgia.  Everyone had plenty of great questions, as many had very little experience with firearms, in general, or were considering obtaining one in the near future.  Following lecture, students were taught proper drawing mechanics using blue guns.  They were able to test out the mechanics on Combat Hard’s indoor Airsoft range.  We even had a friendly shooting competition.

Many thanks to everyone who participated.  We also want to thank our gracious host, KBX Gym, and all of its super-dedicated employees.  You guys are awesome.
